The guild Order of the Dragon was founded sometime before October 8th, 1999 by Green Dragon. Created to be a neutral guild, the guild was centered around helping new players become "powerful Warriors and Wizards" through the use of their "Golden Dragon School for Tibian's". The guild appeared to be based on protecting their own members while avoiding PKs, thieves, beggars, powergamers, and assassins.
The ranks are a bit hard to understand and the amount of ranks indicates a high desire to be a large guild, rather then the small 12 player guild it was. It looks like the leader was called the Lord of Lady depending on who had this role while the Regent was second in command. Below this position was the Royal Guard, High Guard, Royal Guard which might have been squad leaders. The Knights, Squire, and then Page of the guild were below that. Further ranks seemed to be mage ranks so I don't know if the Guard titles were for melee vocation or how that worked. Sorcerer & Druid Ranks were the Grand Master Wizard, followed by the Master Wizard, Wizard, Apprentice, and Trainee. Sorcerers and Druids would receive a "special" rank and were required to contribute runes and spells to the Order. Knights would become Guardians to the Order to protect members. Paladins and high-level members are choice members and seemingly could choose to be a part of any of the RANK STRUCTURE. They contribute runes and arrows to the guild if needed. No vocations were welcome, and the Order may contribute some of the treasury to support their vocation cost.
To join the guild you needed to be at least level 3 and couldn't be a PK, "newbie begger" or thief. Players who would try to join for free items were discouraged to do so and based on how often it was mentioned it seemed like this might have been an ongoing problem. Those who joined could not engage in reckless behavior in the community and had to pay a 300gp a month fee for the key to their guild house.
The guild was friendly towards BoA which it considered an ally. It seems based on their comments that the guild was to receive a hall of their own, but I wasn't able to find anything more and their layout for their desired hall doesn't match any known builds.
