This treaty is to establish a peaceful contact agreement between the guilds whose leaders place their signatures below. Members of Graffa and of Nightmare Knights will, from this day forward, honour the contract, as stipulated below, and as approved by their leadership.
§1: Communication Clause
1.1.:It is important that ideas are discussed by the leaderships, in order to help create a stronger Antican community, and strengthen the bond between the Nightmare Knights and Graffa.
1.1.1.: The Guild leaderships may ask for council if they so desire.
1.1.2.: It is important that the guilds maintain an active relationship. To do this, it is suggested that, when making an event, the host of the event should invite the other contract partner.
1.1.3.: Both guilds are required to report any immoral or rule violating behaviour from the associated guild. Guild members should report this behaviour to the responsible diplomat, and the diplomat should forward it to the associated guild leadership, as stipulated in §8.2.
§2: Respect Clause
2.1.: All Tibians have a right to dignity. Through the special relationship that results out of this contract, members of Nightmare Knights and Graffa are obliged to treat each other in a dignified and respectful manner. A dignified and respectful manner forbids insultive comments, slanderous comments, libellous comments or comments that are against the Tibia Rule 2a.
2.1.1.: Insultive comments are comments that violate the honour and dignity of a person.
2.1.2: Slanderous comments are comments which are made in order to discredit or lower the public opinion of a member of the associated guild. Such comments are to be considered as disrespectful, and a violation of this clause, unless they are provably true.
2.1.3.: Libellous statements are untrue statements about somebody and are distributed against better knowledge. These comments must have the capability of discrediting or lowering the public opinion of a member of the associated guild. Such statements, when they are written (on the forum, in a letter, for example), are to be considered a harsher violation of this clause.
§3: Offensive Clauses
3.1.: No member of Graffa or Nightmare Knights will harm a member of the associated guild.
3.1.1.: Harming a member is defined as any intentional or neglectful act that causes harm to a member. This includes, but is not restricted to hiring head-hunters to complete a harmful act or spreading false information that results in a harmful act.
3.1.2.: If a problem should occur, members shall retreat and report problems to their superiors. The leaders of both guilds are obliged to meet to discuss a solution that both sides find acceptable. Should no solution be found, both guilds receive the right to an extraordinary cancellation.
4.1.: None of the undersigned parties will recruit members which are officially hunted by the other party, or where there is an unsolved issue which the recruiting party is aware of. The recruitment should be delayed until the matter is cleared (with a maximum of two weeks delay).
4.1.1.: If a person who is hunted by one of the undersigned groups is recruited by the other party, the party who hunts the recruit will immediately inform their contract partner. After the recruiting party is informed of the situation, both parties will attempt to reach a diplomatic solution to the issue. If this proves impossible, the newly recruited member must be removed from the guild until a solution has been found.
§5: War Clause
5.1.: If a guild declares a war, or has war declared upon them, the other associated guild receives the right to an extraordinary cancellation of this contract.
§6: Blackbook Clauses
6.1.: The guilds' blackbooks are to be separated.
6.2.: Neither of the guilds involved in this agreement are to interfere with the execution of a member of the associate guilds blackbook.
6.2.1.: If one side wishes to interfere or raise protection on a blackbooked person, they must send the blackbooked person to the protection zone and negotiate an agreement with the other side. If no agreement is reached, both sides receive the right to an extraordinary cancellation.
§7: Second Characters
7.1.: This contract does not affect relatives or second characters of either guild, unless they are members of that guild. Should one side wish to make an exception in a specific case, it is in their responsibility to negotiate the exception.
§8: Communication Clause
8.1.: Both guilds are required to report any immoral or rule violating behaviour from the associated guild. Guild members should report this behaviour to the responsible diplomat, and the diplomat should forward it to the associated guild leadership, as stipulated in §9.2.
§9: Clerical Clauses
9.1.: Both guilds forums must be in an understandable language for both leaderships, in general English. Should the guilds choose to accept contact in a language other than English, this must be negotiated and agreed upon beforehand.
9.2.: Both sides must grant communication with the leadership within a reasonable amount of time, generally 14 days. Communication should be generally attempted through a specially designated forum on either of the guilds forums. If no forum can be agreed on, a neutral place shall be chosen by the leaderships.
§10: Clause for the Cancellation of this Agreement
10.1.: If one of the associated guilds wishes to cancel the treaty, it is obligated to inform the other participating guild with an announcement on that guilds forum.
10.1.1.: The actual termination of this treaty does not take place until 14 days after the announcement has been posted.
10.1.2.: If it is impossible to use the forum of the other guild due to linguistic or technical issues, any other means of cancelling the contract are accepted.
10.2.: An extraordinary cancellation should follow the requirements of 10.1., but is however cancelled 3 days after contact is made.
